Nectarines with Long Pepper, Balsamic Vinegar and Sea SaltLemon Bird Preserves
This summer the nectarines were perfect in every way. They were some of the best tasting fruit we've ever had. We've cooked them into a rich jam with the floral notes of long pepper, a little sweet balsamic vinegar and a surprising Hawaiian sea salt finish.
This jam tastes like fruit and caramel. We love to eat it straight out of the jar or with some great cheeses for a fantastic dinner party.
