Cedar Smoked OnionsLemon Bird Preserves
This summer we picked up sweet and fresh cipollini onions from one of our favorite growers. Inspired by our travels to the South, we decided to add some smoke to their lovely flavor.
We gently cedar smoke our onions until they are filled with a delicate smokey flavor. These onions are perfect right out of the jar. We'd put them in a cocktail or add them to our favorite burger - with a spread of pimiento cheese.
Jar size: 11.5 oz.
Ingredients: Cipollini onions, white vinegar, filtered water, Hawaiian sea salt, cedar chips.
